Scout

Scout and her brother, Jem, were found under a trailer loading dock at my work when they were just two days old, umbilical cord still attached. They were born on July 11th, 2016. Luckily one of my coworkers had a nursing momma cat that took them in for a few weeks and then we bottle fed until the could be moved to solid foods. Scout loves Jake more than everything and will do whatever she can to get his attention. Scout is happy with even just a few pets, and makes the best of every moment! Jem and his sister, Scout, were found under a trailer loading dock at my work when they were just two days old. They were born on July 11th, 2016 and still had their umbilical cords attached. Luckily one of my coworkers had a nursing momma cat that took them in for a few weeks and then we bottle fed until the could be moved to solid foods. His absolute favorite toy in an old, broken zip toe that we have somehow managed to keep for years. Other zip ties will not do. Jem is an old man at heart, his two favorite things are napping in the rocking chair or drinking water straight out of the faucet. He knows he's too good for bowls.

Ralph came to join our family in 2021 when his old family could no longer care for him and was going to drop him off at the shelter. We think he was born around 2017. This chunky boy is very vocal and loves to be near the action. He came to us as an only cat, so it took him a while to learn that he has to share with his new siblings. Now he and Jem play every day before selling in for a nap!

Leo was born under our back porch after a local stray adopted us and had her litter. We think his litter had two different dads, some looked just like a neighboring cat and other were VERY fluffy. We attempted to make him an indoor cat but after a long time and several attempts he was clearly more happy as an outside barn cat.

He enjoy spending his days exploring the property and hanging out with Paco when she is in the outside aviary. Leo is the more adventurous and loves to go on explorations, but we have a camera outside to observe him come home several times a day to eat and every night to sleep. Leo would love to get scratches all day every day, and will kindly remind you if you step petting him too soon.
